This Polyvagal Theory in Therapy training will support therapists in applying a trauma-informed, polyvagal approach to navigate both personal and professional life challenges.
Therapists interact with survivors of trauma every day and the effects of secondary trauma can have long lasting impacts.
This training will help prevent professional burnout by increasing levels of self-awareness with a new perspective on personal development.
We will implement the principles of polyvagal theory in therapy to have a wider range of trauma-informed tools to practice in the field with clients and colleagues.
Participants will leave with simple effective tools to help clients and themselves build resilience and emotional regulation skills.
The presenter will utilize lecture and experiential exercises to support the learning objectives and facilitate a dynamic learning experience.
